YieldPoint’s unique 1 to 6-Point Multiple Rod Extensometer (d-Exto) combines a traditional Multi-Rod design ( robust torsionally straightened stainless steel) and digital signal processing to result in dramatically improved accuracy and reliability compared to similarly priced existing technology. This highly accurate digital instrument comprises up to six (6) Linear Variable Induction Transducers (LVITs) and an on-board digital temperature sensor.

YieldPoint recognizes that in many mining situation fast deployment of an ungrouted borehole extensometer is advantageous. The d-MPBX is a unique 1 to 6-Point Multiple Point Borehole eXtensometer (MPBX) based on a single rod design. The anchors are fitted with stainless steel extension springs that secure the instrument in a 38-50mm borehole. The d-MPBX incorporates digital signal processing to result in dramatically improved accuracy compared to similar priced existing technology.
Used to measure and locate settlement, heave, displacement and deformation in soil and rock.
