VW TEMPERATURE SENSOR
In stock
The VWTS 6000 vibrating wire temperature sensor is used primarily for the measurement of internal temperature in concrete structures, soil, rock or water.
The sensor operates on the principle that when plucked, a tensioned wire vibrates at its resonant frequency. The square of this frequency is proportional to the strain in the wire.
Around the wire is a magnetic coil which when pulsed by a vibrating wire readout or data logger interface plucks the wire and measures the resultant resonant frequency of vibration.

Vibrating Wire Sensor Node
In stock
Our vibrating wire sensor interface enables high precision and low power monitoring of a wide range of structural and geotechnical sensors for use in variety of sectors.
The Vibrating Wire Sensor interface range brings a wide variety of vibrating wire sensors into our systems. It is a highly integrated system which is capable of exciting and sampling vibrating wire sensors and reporting measurements through Senceive’s wireless communications network to a gateway.
Examples of the sensors supported:
- Piezometers
- Strain gauges
- Load & pressure cells
- In place inclinometers
- External temperature
- Extensometers
- Crack gauges
- Soil moisture sensors
WEIR MONITOR VWM-2000
In stock
The Geosense® VWM-2000 vibrating wire precision water level monitor utilises a vented vibrating wire force transducer in combination with a cylindrical weight suspended from it to monitor water levels.
The vibrating wire transducer is vented to atmosphere so that any atmospheric changes are automatically compensated.
Crack Sensor Node
In stock
The Crack Sensor Node is used to monitor structural movement including pile separation, crack movement and expansion joint movement.
The Crack Sensor Node interfaces to a linear displacement sensor. It's high precision sampling circuit powers the sensor and reports its measurements through Senceive’s wireless communications network to a Gateway. It has been successfully used in many applications, including those measuring:
- Crack movement
- Pile separation
- Structural movement
- Expansion joint monitoring

VW STRAIN GAUGE SURFACE MOUNT VWS-2000
In stock
The VWS-2000 series vibrating wire surface strain mount gauges are designed for the long term monitoring of steel or concrete structures. Gauges may be attached to steel structures by arc welding or, using alternative end blocks, bonded or grouted into concrete.
The strain gauge operates on the principle that a tensioned wire, when plucked, vibrates at its resonant frequency. The square of this frequency is proportional to the strain in the wire.
