  • Particularly rugged by reinforced axle

CABLES

In stock

Braided cable is used to ensure maximum protection and CE compliance for EMC; PUR provides excellent abrasion resistance and flexibility and LSHF (low smoke halogen free) cables are designed for increased safety in the case of fire and used extensively in underground applications. All cables are compliant with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC. Vented cables are also available for use with vented transducers to allow for atmospheric compensation and armoured cables for use in applications such as dams.

TERMINAL SWITCH BOX

In stock

Switching box used to group multiple sensors in a single location providing a convenient mean of taking readings. The Switching box consists of a fiberglass enclosure containing terminal blocks, rotary switches, cable input connectors and sockets for portable readout connection. The switching box can handle up to thirty two 4-conductor sensors, and allows lightning protection to be added for each of these conductors. The Switching box can be used all types of VW sensors & increases efficiency of taking of manual readings. The Switching box may be fitted with a multiplexer for use with a CR6 data acquisition system.

TDR PORTABLE READOUT

In stock

Lightweight, Portable and Powerful
The Canary Systems® MLTDR-P is a portable datalogger designed for semi-automated monitoring of any number of coaxial cables embedded in slopes or boreholes for deformation monitoring.
The MLTDR-P is field-configurable for Cable Channel, Cable Length and Cable Velocity (Vp). A 12AHr lead-acid battery provides power, recharging is accomplished via the power port on the side of the reader and a supplied charging cable. Communications are provided via RS232 interface through the supplied cable. There is an optional Bluetooth interface available, on request.

PUSH-IN PRESSURE CELL

In stock

A Push-in Pressure Cell, also called Spade Cell, is designed to be pushed into the ground where it can measure total earth pressure and pore water pressure within the soil. It can be used as a site investigation tool to determine the in-situ stress state, both vertical and horizontal, depending on the direction of installation. In addition, it can be used to monitor the change in active and passive pressure around retaining structures (diaphragm walls etc) as well as in tunnelling, and other earthworks. Typical installations are in fine grained cohesive soils, including very soft to stiff clays.

LOAD CELL FOR TUNNEL LININGS AND STRUTS

In stock

This type of load cell is used to monitor stresses in steel linings, struts, piles and support beams. It consists of a sensitive pressure pad formed by joining two stiff steel discs at their periphery. The void inside the cell is filled with de-aired fluid. When load is applied to the cell the pressure of the inside liquid changes. The changes in pressure correspond directly to the load applied. The pressure in the loads cell is measured by a resistance transducer.

STRAIN GAUGE LOAD CELL SGLC-7050

In stock

The SGLC 7050 series load cell consists of a solid cylinder of high strength stainless steel with a series of electrical resistance strain gauges connected around the periphery as a Wheatstone Bridge that compensates for unevenly distributed loads and provides a single mV/V signal output.
