VWPHT-3600 SERIES
In stock
The VWPHT-3600 series High Temperature Piezometers are suitable for the extreme environments of temperature and pressure found within applications such as geothermal heat and enhanced oil recovery systems including steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) and cyclic steam stimulation (CSS). They are capable of monitoring high temperatures up to 250°C and pressures up to 34.5 MPa.
STRAIN GAUGE PIEZOMETER SGP-3400 SERIES
In stock
The SGP-3400 Series of strain gauge piezometers are designed for monitoring soil pore pressure or changes in water level and are also suitable for dynamic monitoring such as pumping tests.
They are accurate, highly-reliable and suitable for use in the harsh environments often found within civil engineering including water wells, boreholes, dams, reservoirs, rivers, tanks or any other body of water.
DRIVE-IN PIEZOMETERS WP-3400 & SGP-3500 SERIES
In stock
Drive-in piezometers, also referred to as push-in piezometers, are designed for installing in soft clays, organic or fine grained cohesionless soils typically with a SPT-N value less than 10. They are available with a CPT fitting or 1” BSP thread.
Depending on the depth and type of soil, they can either be pushed directly into the soil from ground level to the required depth or pushed into the base of a CPT test or drilled borehole.
PRESSURE TRANSDUCER VWT-9000 SERIES
In stock
The Geosense® VWT-9000 Series of Pressure Transducers are designed to be connected directly into hydraulic or pneumatic pressure lines by means of a 1/4” BSPF thread. Other thread sizes are available on request.
They are typically used to monitor uplift pressures within dams and to enable manual standpipe piezometers to be upgraded into an automated data acquisition system.
AUTOMATIC PENDULUM READOUT TP-2000 SERIES
In stock
The Geosense TP-2000 Series is a readout device specifically designed to automatically measure and record relative movements of normal and inverted pendulums. It is housed in a robust waterproof housing and is simple to install using a special mounting plate.
It can be installed as part of a complete new system or be retro-fitted as part of an upgrade to an existing manual system.
Measurements are obtained using highly sensitive and accurate CCD technology which converts the data with temperature correction into either an analogue or digital signal which can be transmitted to a remote data logger. Data can also be stored and read locally with an additional LED display.
JACKOUT PRESSURE CELL
In stock
VWJPC-4500 Jackout Pressure Cells are used to measure active and passive pressures on diaphragm walls during excavation. They are installed within the diaphragm wall cage to monitor pressure on the walls. Any build-up of excessive pressure can be detected in time for remedial measures to be carried out.
The Pressure Cell itself is constructed of two circular, stainless steel plates welded around their periphery. The space between the two plates is filled with an incompressible fluid. A transducer is connected to this space and measures the pressure exerted on the incompressible fluid.
VW DISPLACEMENT GAUGE VWDT-5000
In stock
Geosense® VWDT-5000 series of vibrating wire displacement transducers cover displacement ranges up to 300mm and are fully waterproof to a minimum of IP68 (16 bar external pressure). They can be incorporated into many displacement products such as crack and joint meters, convergence meters, soil extensometers and displacement meters.
VW DISPLACEMENT GAUGE VWDT-6000
In stock
The VWDT-6000 series of spring-loaded vibrating wire displacement transducers which cover displacement ranges up to 75mm and are fully waterproof to a minimum of IP68 (16 bar external pressure). They can be incorporated into many displacement products such as crack joint meters, convergence meters, soil extensometers and displacement meters.
VW CRACK METER VWCM-4000
In stock
VWCM-4000 crack meters are used to measure movement across surface cracks and joints in concrete, rock, soil and structures.
They consist of a sensor outer body tube and an inner free-sliding rod which is connected at the internal end to a vibrating wire sensor by a spring. At the sensor end of the outer body and the external end of the rod anchors are attached which can be fixed either side of a crack to be monitored.
