VW ANCHOR LOAD CELLS VWLC-5000

In stock

The VWLC 5000 series Vibrating Wire Anchor Load Cells consist of a cylinder of high strength steel with 3 to 6 vibrating wire strain sensors (depending on capacity) mounted parallel to the longitudinal axis arranged equidistant around the circumference which measure the compression of the cylinder under load. They are manufactured with a Center hole to accommodate anchors, rock bolts and tendons.

VW LIQUID SETTLEMENT SYSTEM

In stock

The VWLSS-200 Vibrating Wire Liquid Settlement System is used to monitor settlement or heave in soils and other structures such as embankments, earth and rockfill dams. The main components are a reservoir (single or multiple), liquid-filled tubing and a vibrating wire pressure transducer cell mounted on a plate or, for borehole application, attached to an anchor.

Millivolt Sensor Node

In stock

The Millivolt Sensor Node enables a range of structural and geotechnical sensors to be integrated into a wireless remote condition monitoring system.
The Millivolt Sensor Node is used in a number of sectors to monitor a range of resistive bridge sensors, including strain gauges and load cells.  It uses the integrated radio transceiver to report its measurements through Senceive’s wireless communications network to a gateway. Examples of the sensors supported:
  • Pressure sensors (differential, absolute)
  • Foil strain gauges
  • Torque sensors
  • Load cells
  • Load pins
  • Moisture sensing
  • Conductivity

NEXUSGEO

In stock

The NexusGEO® is a Bluetooth Interface which can be used to connect a wide range of sensors with analogue or RS-485 digital outputs to an Android smart device for manual readout. This means data can easily be accessed on site by any Android device such as a smartphone or tablet. Specially-developed by Geosense, it is designed to offer interoperability between sensors and the chosen Android device. This enables the user to benefit from the increased processing capability and connectivity of a smart device over a standard readout. The user can simply read and store data or read, store and transmit it via a mobile network.

VW Comm Interface Module

In stock

Three industry standard communication interfaces are included: RS-232, RS-485 and SDI-12. The RS-232 interface provides compatibility with a wide range of standard wireless adaptors and modems including those from Digi International and Freewave, facilitating the deployment of cost-effective networks of wireless sensors. The RS-485 interface allows an inexpensive, reliable wired network to be built using simple twisted pair cabling. Up to 61 nodes are supported in a wired network, with up to 1200m (4000’) of cabling. The network can be easily extended with RS-485 repeaters. The vibrating wire interface consists of a precision differential amplifier with band-pass filtering, which improves noise rejection and measurement reliability. The excitation and measurement parameters are programmable to support all commonly used vibrating wire instruments. Reading output can be programmed for digits (Hz^2×10–³), frequency (Hz) or period (μS).

PT100

In stock

The Pt100 temperature sensor contains a platinum resistance thermometer that changes resistance value as its temperature changes and provides accurate and reliable long-term temperature measurements. These sensors are often used in the extremely harsh environments found within Geotechnical monitoring.

VW PIEZOMETER VWP-3000 SERIES

In stock

The VWP-3000 Series of Vibrating Wire piezometers use the well-proven method of converting fluid pressures on a sensitive diaphragm into a frequency signal.
FEATURES
  • Reliable long-term performance
  • Rugged, suitable for demanding environments
  • High accuracy
  • Insensitive to long cable lengths

HYDRAULIC ANCHOR LOAD CELL HLC-6000

In stock

The Geosense® HLC-6000 series Hydraulic Anchor Load Cells consist of a sensitive pressure pad formed by joining two stiff steel discs at their periphery. The void inside the cell is filled with de-aired fluid. When load is applied to the cell the pressure of the inside liquid changes. The changes in pressure correspond directly to the load applied. Manufactured with a center hole to accommodate anchors, rock bolts and tendons.
